​​Dan The Boat Man

Owned and operated by Dan Searcy and his wife Debbie.

They have lived on their small acreage for over 30 years where the shop is located in

Abbotsford, BC.

Dan learned the fiberglass trade while working with a large well known kayak manufacturer during the late 80's to early 90's. His position there gave him the opportunity to learn all aspects of the boat building process as well as repairing and mould construction.

While his career choice changed, his love of boats and boating lead to the opening of his home based repair business.

Dan has had the pleasure of working with the Ferries, City of Abbotsford, School District #34 and Atlantis Marine to name a few.

He also has a good working relationship with local auto marine repairs shops, Abby Marine and Fraser Marine and Auto as their fiberglass consultant and service provider​.
